Spent about two hours outside a few nights ago looking at stars and watching for meteorites with [Friend] and [Friend 2]. There were some really great ones. I remember one that was about the size of Venus and the color of rust shoot slowly /all/ the way across the sky. It had a red trail and everything! At around 1 AM there was a flash of blue in the sky and the power cut out. The power came back a moment later followed by another blue flash. We promptly went back to star gazing.
